Christmas Lights Etc. and the 2011 Winter Storm

Oh the weather outside is frightful, but the snow is so delightful, since we've no roads open to go, Christmas Lights Etc. is closed!

Snowy DaySnow in North Georgia

As far as us actually being in the office that is! Here in the Atlanta area, we got up to 8 inches of snow in some parts and are stuck at home with icy roads and below freezing temperatures. The picture above was taken from my upstairs bonus room of our cul de sac. We can't even see the road, just a bunch of mailboxes! Being as dedicated as we are though, we are all at home working to make sure that our customers have all the information and help we can possibly provide! We are taking the necessary precautions to ensure our employees safety as well as ensure our customers satisfaction. A little bit of snow and ice won't keep us down!

Now back to the fun stuff! The kids and dogs are loving the beautiful white grounds. Pictures from Facebook and from Fox 5 Atlanta show how much fun this winter storm has turned out to be! Prancing and playing, some even sinking down, people and animals of all ages and sizes are having a blast in this rarity of weather in Georgia. Record snow levels are seeming to be a bit of a hassle for drivers and government officials trying to clean up the roads, but we don't have to worry about all of that mess. We are focused on sleds and snowballs, snowmen and slush! The winter storm of 2011 and Christmas Lights Etc. have no hard feelings towards each other, for sure!
