Christmas Lights, Etc opened its warehouse once again for G3 Grizzly Great Day of Giving. Every year students from Piney Grove Middle School in Forsyth County, GA, along with teachers and parent volunteers, arrive at the Christmas Lights, Etc warehouse to pack cookies for the Treat the Troops organization.

Grizzly Great Day of Giving is a day of community service where students from the Piney Grove Middle School spend a morning working together in several different services across Forsyth County. Students and volunteers not only pack cookies and write letters to our troops overseas, but also play games at the senior center, make blankets for children to use when they arrive at hospital emergency rooms, sort clothes for charities, and help at the local food pantry, among many other services.

2014 marks the fourth annual Grizzly Day of Giving, or G3 Day for short. The students and volunteers arrived with an air of excitement and an eagerness to participate, and enthusiastically packed boxes and spent time carefully writing thank you letters to include. Christmas Lights, Etc was once again pleased to offer the local school its warehouse space, and to be included in helping the school with this amazing event.
