Don't forget that rope lighting looks elegant for weddings and anniversaries too, not just for the holiday season. Think of attaching some rope light to the bottom edge of a table and draping a veil like material over it so you can still see the rope lighting. It looks great!

I usually wait until the first week of December to put up my tree. Concentrate on one holiday at a time, lol. We have been thinking about getting an artificial tree this year for the first time. Kinda hard to do after all these years of buying real trees.

I finally decided to see if I could lower my electric bill and I bought LED lightbulbs to replace my old incandescent bulbs. Yes! My electric bill is much lower! Also, I found a great website called Eaglelight.com that I would recommend enthusiastically..
